Florist lunar calendar for August 2019

Florist lunar calendar for August 2019

By August, the zenith of the growing season of most plants has already passed, ornamental crops begin to tune in to a dormant period. But before freezing during cold weather, the flowers take care of the offspring, prepare for the next season: they shed ripe seeds, accumulate nutrients in tubers and bulbs. The florist's lunar calendar in August 2019 contains a full range of works designed to help green pets to correctly complete their next life cycle. After all, indoor plants are completely dependent on the owners.

Florist calendar in August 2019

Watering, feeding, lighting, temperature is the concern of the grower. Even the reproduction of ornamental crops in artificial conditions is not complete without human intervention. It is all the more important to coordinate the phases of plant life with the biorhythms of nature. The florist's lunar calendar will tell you which day to help flowers, and when it is better not to approach your home greenhouse at all.

In August 2019, such days when caring for plants will be harmful, only 6: 1, 2, 29, 30, 31 are associated with the birth of a new moon, and 15 - the middle of the lunar cycle - full moon. People and flowers are vulnerable these days, work with the land is prohibited.

The first half of the month, before the full moon, is a very busy schedule of flower care activities. At this time, all types of work are planned, but bulbous ones are excluded from the list of crops. Their time is the second half of the month. Flowers, the rhizome of which is a tuber (gloxinia, cyclamen, begonias), are also given attention after the full moon.

For top dressing, the lunar calendar provides for separate days: on the growing moon (from 3 to 7, from 11 to 13), mineral complexes are introduced, on the decreasing moon (16-18, 21-23, 26, 27) organic fertilizers are more effective.

Recommendations for 1-10 August 2019

The first two days of the decade are an opportunity to take a break, plan work, relying on the lunar calendar of the grower. Since spring, the plants have been actively growing, gaining green mass, so by the beginning of autumn, some will need to be transplanted into a larger container.

A lot of root offspring is a reason to plant them in separate pots so that the young gain strength and do not suck the juices from the mother bush. From the 3rd to the 8th of the lunar calendar, the best days are at the beginning of the month, and by the dormant period, all plants will have time to take root.

Work schedule from 11 to 20 August

The decade begins with very favorable days - any work is useful and safe.

The turning point is the full moon. On this day, the florist takes a break from worries about the greenhouse. But if there are bulbous flowers at home that need transplanting, pruning, dividing the rhizome (it's time to plant the babies from the mother's bulb), then they prepare soils, pots, tools. In this decade, such work is possible only from 16 to 18.

Flower care from 21 to 31 August

The last decade of the month due to the new moon is shortened for flower care up to 8 days. Of these, only 5 are suitable for planting. Top dressing these days is only organic, emphasis on phosphorus and potassium: these macronutrients help fruiting, ripening of seeds, preparation for winter.

On August 24, 25, vines, ivy and other climbing plants will gratefully respond to the attention. After the summer, many need to update the supports, make new garters.

August 27 is the best bathing day in the decade for flowers: it is worth checking all the plants for the need for soil moisture, because after that, watering is prohibited until the end of the month.

The florist's calendar for August 2019 is also relevant for garden ornamental plants. If, in addition to the home greenhouse, there are flower beds in the country, then the advice of the lunar calendar will help to carry out all the work on time. Having planned the events in advance and checking the schedule of affairs with the lunar cycle, the florist provides indoor and garden ornamental crops with the most effective care.

Florist lunar calendar for September, October, November 2021

In the fall, short days begin and almost all flowers almost stop growing and blooming until spring. Therefore, in the autumn months, the frequency of feeding is reduced, and the last transplants and pruning are done.

If the plants are still in bloom, remove the faded buds from them. Then flowering can last longer. Flowers in a room farther from the south window can be placed closer to the light source. Otherwise, from a lack of lighting, they may begin to stretch.
